Fieldpiece VC2G — Dual Ball Valve Core Removal Tool with Sight Glass

The top of the Fieldpiece VCRT range. The VC2G has an integrated sight glass so you visually verify the valve core is engaged before removing it, as well as confirm refrigerant is flowing — and a second ball valve on the side port protects your vacuum and pressure gauges.

That second ball valve is the key differentiator over the VC1G. Recommended best practice when using a VCRT with a vacuum gauge is to add a secondary isolation valve to the side port — by building it directly into the body of the VC2G, Fieldpiece creates a more securely sealed system and gives technicians more flexibility to customise their service setup. Isolate either side independently, connect multiple hose lines, and protect your gauges without adding extra fittings.

The capture rod reliably engages the valve core the first time, every time — a gasket secures the valve core pin so there's no fishing around for lost cores. The comfort spinner — a free-spinning, rubberised magnetic cap — lets you apply linear pressure with one hand and rotate with the other, making removal and insertion against system pressure easier and more controlled.

A2L compatible and vacuum-rated to 20 microns, suitable for use with R-12, R-22, R-32, R-134a, R-404A, R-407A, R-410A, R-454B, R-507 and R-1234yf. The 1/4" service port fitting swaps to an optional 5/16" fitting (sold separately as RVC5) for mini-split systems.
