The standout feature over a standard clamp meter is power measurement. The SC480INT measures power consumption directly in kW, letting you determine system efficiency on the spot and give customers real data on energy use and potential savings. Pair that with True RMS, a Low Pass Filter for accurate VFD readings, and 3-phase rotation testing with just two leads — and you've got a meter that handles every electrical scenario HVACR throws at you. 

Job Link wireless connectivity sends all electrical measurements directly to the Job Link app from up to 300 metres away — leave the meter behind a closed blower door or at the outdoor unit and read it on your phone. Pairs with SM380V and SM480V manifolds, SRS3 wireless scale and other Job Link probes for a complete wireless system snapshot. 

The big dual backlit display shows voltage and amperage simultaneously, an LED in the clamp jaw illuminates dark panels, and a high voltage warning triggers a display symbol, audible beep and red LED when dangerous voltages are detected. A single test lead holder lets you take measurements safely with one hand. 

Inrush current mode captures compressor starting amps, capacitance testing identifies failing motor start and run caps, and swappable Molex probe tips reach cramped mini-split connectors that standard leads can't access.
