The brown tip brazing alloy is the go-to choice for HVAC/R technicians across Australia — a 15% silver equivalent phos-copper brazing alloy (BCuP-5) that delivers strong, leak-free joints on copper and brass pipework, even where tight fit-up can't always be guaranteed.
Excellent for situations where close fit-up does not exist and where thermal expansion and service vibration are involved — making it the preferred rod for split system installations, refrigeration pipework, valves, condensers, and coils.
