The Hisense Air Q Premium AUD-160UX4RSH1 is a high static ducted indoor unit for reverse cycle air conditioning, designed for large residential and light commercial applications. Part of Hisense's Air Q Premium ducted range — the first ducted air conditioning system in Australia to carry the Sensitive Choice approval — this unit combines powerful whole-home air conditioning performance with advanced air purification technology.
HI-NANO plasma ion technology generates up to 1 million ions/cm², actively neutralising airborne bacteria, allergens, mould, pollen, odours, and fine particles throughout the home. The Sensitive Choice approval means the system has been independently reviewed for its potential to reduce asthma and allergy triggers, making it an excellent choice for households with allergy or respiratory sensitivities.
The high static design delivers large airflow with various piping options to suit ducted air conditioning installations with longer duct runs. The splittable indoor unit offers installation flexibility across a range of ceiling cavity configurations, with a generous pre-charge length and maximum pipe run to allow versatile placement of the outdoor unit. The system supports up to 8 individually controllable zones with airflow adjustable in precise 5% increments, allowing room-by-room comfort control and improved energy efficiency by only conditioning occupied spaces.
Optional WiFi control via the ConnectLife app allows remote management of the air conditioning system from anywhere via smartphone, and is compatible with voice control. The anticorrosive golden fin on the outdoor unit is designed to withstand salty air, rain, and other corrosive elements — ideal for coastal Australian installations. The PCB structure also prevents insects from entering the unit. The system is VEU registered, meaning eligible installations may qualify for Victorian Energy Upgrades rebates.
